Brookhaven Hospice and Arete Rehab invite you to a special screening of the PBS documentary “Being Mortal” on Tuesday April 16th from 4:30-6:30 PM at Arete Rehab, located at 1 Stiles Road, Suite 104, in Salem, New Hampshire.

If you thought you were dying, what would matter most to you?
— Dr. Atul Gawande

The documentary is based on the best-selling book “Being Mortal” by Dr. Atul Gawande. The book addresses why it is so hard for doctors to talk about dying with their patients and how the medical profession can better help people navigate the final chapters of their lives with confidence, direction and purpose. This event is helpful to physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, case managers, physicians assistants, and other health workers. Discussion will be held by Brookhaven’s medical team and your questions will be answered. The first 20 registrants will receive a free copy of Being Mortal.
